This year’s campus placement at Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) across India witnessed Crore-Plus Salary offerings on the Day One.

CHENNAI (Quiz Pundit) : This year’s campus placement at Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) across India witnessed Crore-Plus Salary offerings on the Day One.

The IIT Madras for instance started the day with two computer science students recruited with $ 210,000 /- that makes INR 1.31 Crore. While the institute has not yet disclosed the name of the recruiter company that showered the best ever offer, the names circles around the American Information Technology Company – Oracle, though not confirmed. The recruiter is said to have placed the students with salary compensation along with a joining bonus.

The campus recruitment 2013 at IITs has shoot off on Dec 1. 40 % increases in highest salary offering (in dollars) by US recruiters were seen for this time’s placement. Campus placement ratio in India or the domestic placement ratio has also doubled becoming 70 % higher than the last year placement.  Recruiters were more generous this time for IIT Kharagpur and IIT Mumbai by offering international offers from Google, Apple, Microsoft, Samsung Electronics and many more. Highest salary for IIT Kharagpur touched as large as 93 Lakhs ($ 125,000) and IIT Mumbai student picked for as high as 84 Lakhs ($ 135,000).

Top offerings were also made at IIT Guwahati were Google offered highest with 74.8 Lakhs ($ 120,000). Students at IIT Delhi received 64.8 Lakh offer from Epic Systems.  Other top recruiters that visited the IITs were Mitsubishi, Zomato, Blackstone, WorldQuant and many more.
